Jigsaw puzzles, not my thing usually. But in these crazy times I've discovered puzzling allows me some quiet headspace. When the news means I struggle to even escape into a book, a beautiful image slowly taking shape draws me in. Here's to finding that quiet headspace. Goodness knows, we need it.

I'm reading Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets, having loved his other books. This one seems a tired rehash of the others, sadly.

Daphne de Maurier's Rebecca. I had a boxed copy on my shelf for years but once I started it, I adored it! Such beautiful, evocative writing, I felt I was in that house.
