We introduce βgentrification regimesββusing 50 years of property data to reveal how Luxembourgβs housing market shifted from ownership-driven to investor-led, with national fiscal policies fueling buy-to-let gentrification.

Honestly, this is my reaction to a lot of current events as well.
The second tour of presidential elections is our last hope before heading for darkness. That and hoping that in the next coalition wonβt be any extremist parties.
USR (literally, Union Save Romania) backs the center-right presidential candidate #ElenaLasconi. While her positions arenβt perfect, the choice is clear when itβs a matter of EU vs. Russia.
Now, since these parties didnβt surpass the 5% threshold for seats in the Senate and Chamber of Deputies, their votes will be redistributed - ultimately empowering the extreme right instead of USR.
Corrupt historical parties dominate #1 and #3, while the most pro-EU, stability-oriented option comes in at #4. Ironically, many small parties spun off from USR (the 4th party), pulling away voters and further dividing the pro-EU camp.
The #parliamentary #elections arenβt very hopeful either: another far-right party - one that raised concerns during the presidential elections - secured second place.
Still in shock after the first round of presidential elections. Like many, I only learned about this pro-Russia, pro-sovereignty, anti-feminist candidate on election night - when votes revealed his rapid rise to #1.
