英彦山山頂の上宮は福岡・大分の県境にあり、その昔はどっちに属するかでモメたらしい。
英彦山には北岳山頂もあって祠が祀ってあるが、こちらは若干大分県側。
登頂には登山装備が必要のようだ。

like it does seem lazy yeah but he hasn't exactly put much effort on that area even before it became a thing.
And the way ZUN is (trying) to use it does sound like he's atleast trying to use it properly
Tho I feel like its a particularly inoffensive position on ZUN's part? I say this as someone who actually has interacted with professional artists and those aspiring (through college stuff) It's really just been soured because of the whole thing with twitter and techbros.
