I'm like 80% sure this is the plot of Horizon: Zero Dawn.

shower thought I refuse to elaborate on: roguelites are the "Alf is back in pog form" of genres
I know you've been apologetic for gushing about this game so much on here, but that's the coolest thing I've seen an MMO do in ages.
You'd be better off with a copy of Milon's Secret Castle. Mee-lone?
Fuckin' A right!
Not necessarily my favorites, but definitely the most important to me.

It threw me this earlier: utterly late-00s style "dude wants to review video games" video (4:3, low-quality, Movie Maker subtitles and intro, the works), but surprise! It was made by one of those "fascinated with Internet culture from before the world was completely on fire" kids a fucking week ago!
YouTube is generally a terrible site in terms of throwing things you didn't specifically ask it for your way, but I have to admit its recent habit of going "hey here's some insane video uploaded 15 minutes ago with almost no views" is a fun one.
Bomberman Wars got me wanting to listen to all of her soundtracks again, so I feel the need to remind people: Jun Chikuma is an absolute genius, and her name should be spoken in the same breath as composers like Yuzo Koshiro and Tim Follin.

People are calling it the most Caucasian game ever made. Wes Anderson is securing the film rights as we speak.
Hah, knowing you I figured you had all those ironic Western indie dating sims in mind reposting that.
#8: My yearly mandated Bomberman game has arrived in the form of Bomberman Wars, an inventive turn-based spin on the series that doesn't require as much strategizing as it probably should.

A bunch of dudes left Shiny during and after the making of that game, and for as polished as that game is, you can kinda tell.
oh, fuck

Need to get caught up on the story of Resident Evil before playing Requiem?
Don't worry. Kayla's got ya covered.
The sad thing is that RSE totally had too much fucking water and the amount of water-based HMs you needed slowed the game to an absolute crawl.
Those Planet X tracks fuckin' bang.
#7: Hey, Ridge Racer Fan! Did you know that Namco made more Ridge Racer games than just R4? Rave Racer is an incredible game with an awesome, diverse soundtrack, and it finally has a worthy home version.

Bring back Parappa/Lammy and have Joe Chin be a Musk-esque tech bro piece of shit.
What I really like about it is that it sounds like a cut solo from a "we just got CD audio, let's fuckin' jam" era video game soundtrack or something. Like, throw that shit over One Night in Neo Kobe and nobody would bat an eye.
And all the stat tracking, player unlocks, and skill-based matchmaking data can be stored clientside. What can go wrong?

For a 5-star game, maybe.
This is maybe the most "doesn't play video games anymore" thing I've seen you say yet.
Oh, and diagonally downward in 4. Even the guy in the ending demo does it!
Jump whip. Always.
120FPS reverse-engineered port of Marble Blast Ultra. Fuck it.
God, we really don't need video games looking better than the best stuff from the tail end of the 360 era, just in 4K and with higher framerates.
