Problems! At the Learning Zone?
My 4yo's plan for a cafe "it's called Happy Halloween but it's not Halloween themed and it's open all year round" could work IMO
A colourful pipe cleaner model of a neuron showing labelled parts. Green and white loops at the top represent dendrites branching from the cell body. A twisted multicoloured stem represents the axon extending downward. Pink and white pipe cleaner shapes at the bottom depict the axon terminals. Yellow arrows point to each part with labels: βDendrites,β βCell body,β βAxon,β and βAxon terminals.β
Itβs British Science Week!
This yearβs theme is Curiosity: Whatβs your question?
Why not start by asking: How does my brain send messages?
Build your own neuron from pipe cleaners and explore how your amazing body works. Or discover more science at home activities on our website.

Favourite #WorldBookDay moment ...
Asked a hall full of children if any of them knew what a Dalek was ... girl RAN up to the stage and announced ... it's a small onion but strong. Cut it and you'll cry.

Right I saw news stories, just not e.g. an advertising campaign, but I might have missed it. Retests every few years seems perfectly reasonable, although sadly beyond current DVSA capacity
Gawain the green knight opening a letter sealed with wax
Little Alex Horne in his studio chair with the caption "so a simple task: land a fair blow anywhere on the green knight. One year later meet him at the green chapel, receive the same blow yourself."
A cut to a wider shot showing Greg Davies in his throne turning to Little Alex Horne subtitled "Well surely no one just ran up and whanged his head clean off."
Cut back to Little Alex Horne subtitled "Let's see Gawain first."
Looks like the original has been swept away by the sands of time.
parents in the park holding their baby up to watch the digger move about an adjacent construction sitβ¦.. really great to see! longitudinal studies have shown that parental interventions within the childβs first eighteen months are the biggest predictor of later success as an umarell
Well, that explains the erratic delivery times.

Greg Davies: Walked out of the underworld. Didn't look back once. Job done!
Orpheus: Thanks
Alex Horne: We did want to show you one more clip of when he came out...
Greg Davies: Great task, well done. Didnβt eat a thing.
Persephone: Thank you.
Alex Horne: Ah. Well. Letβs take another look at that pomegranate.
I don't think it was well publicised. I was learning to drive at the time which helped. I still find it confuses pedestrians sometimes when I stop for them at junctions
