The bulk of the money Missouri gives to pregnancy centers comes from federal funds meant to assist families with basic necessities and child care.
As many as $3 of every $4 was from the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program in 2024, and in 2026, it will be $2 out of $3.

Abortion training should be a standard part of medical education, but many medical schools leave this care out of the curriculum.

The federal prison system will stop providing gender-affirming medical or social transition care to almost any transgender people, under a new policy released by the Bureau of Prisons.
