Hey all! Thereβs just seven days left on @jesthehuman.itch.ioβs No ICE in Minnesota charity bundle! If you havenβt scooped it up already, thereβs no better time to put some money to a good cause and get over 1400 games for just ten bucks!

It really is a perfectly crafted experience at every level. And ditto on the MEMORIES albums.

NOW HEAR ME OUT
It holds a special place in my heart and I still get chills when rewatching a lot of those cutscenes.
BUT
It has weird pacing issues and it committed the cardinal sin of sidelining my boy The Arbiter to co-op partner.
Now I know I recently said Halo 3's story sucks but that doesn't invalidate my childhood
It actually kicks ass how much the people who run this site hate the people who use it. Just constant seething meltdowns over having to put up with a bunch of artists, furries, and trans people instead of crypto-hustlers and AI guys making Linkedin-tier posts. I'm glad they're miserable, frankly
Mina doodle
Oh I've heard of this guy. Apparently he was pretty alright at first but the popularity must've gone to his head cause he does conspiracy shit now lol
I hope that whenever they do a visual rework of Vyper she still looks dumb. The hyper-girlfailure-snake cannot be allowed to look cool
Mina Deadlock...
Esoteric Ebb is really scratching the Disco Elysium itch for me. It's based on *shudders* 5e, but I'm having a ton of fun regardless.
modern warfare is so uniquely horrifying because it is unbelievably totalitarian in its destructiveness but not really any more effective at achieving political objectives than when you just gave ten thousand guys muskets and told them to walk into the other ten thousand guys
this is a beautiful woman to me
Happy birthday
Fortress Demon, a major Commonwealth military installation on Jan Mayen in the North Atlantic
It really is lol. I do really like Reach though, mostly for conveying how much humans get their ass kicked by the Covenant in-universe. Not only does almost everyone die, but every single W Noble Team gets is rendered useless as the invasion ramps up. I'm also just a sucker for squad-level stories π€·
Believe you me this hurts me a lot. I didn't have Xbox Live as a kid so I just ran through Halo 3's campaign a million times and loved it every time. But idk the pacing is just so off
Growing up for me has been coming to the realization that Halo 3's story straight up sucks
Oh well. Got a cool promo video out of it though
NEW: Last year, Bluepoint Games pitched a Bloodborne remake. Sony didn't turn it down... but FromSoftware did.

Death in Deadlock is like the only time your dopamine receptors aren't getting a constant hit
Dying in Deadlock sucks, but I think a big part of why it sucks besides the respawn timer, is because there isn't a single moment you aren't doing something. Laning, jungling, ganking, team fights. Even when you're not doing that stuff the movement system means you're going ham just getting places.
Still don't know if I'm down with extraction shooters, but Marathon's vibe is fucking immaculate. Art direction, sound design, music, world and environments, gun feel. It's all insanely well crafted
I could listen to Vyper yap about Jersey all day
So I've been having some thoughts about ttrpgs and additional damage stuff, which mostly applies to games with combat which values this, here my experience is from Lancer and Fabula Ultima, and is not meant to be me knocking them down, more so an observation on a trait they share with other games
I'm kind of doing this right now with my SotW game. I added in a collegiate tournament with visiting teams from another school, famous free companies, and even Harrison Armory. It's pretty lightweight and I could be doing more, but Blood Money works pretty well for it.
For anyone who might've been waiting on maps for Harvest Star's Tithe, I got bad news: they're not coming :(

Holy shit a new Eva series written by Yoko Taro and with music by Keiichi Okabe? The suffering will be peak
Being connected to the Internet at every moment of our lives definitely isn't helping
