admittedly i still probably am dealing with a disconnect from these characters that made me forget why exactly they mattered to me so much. maybe that'll come back someday, but for now i'm not super worried about it. i'm more focused on my own mental health for now
- story, especially one where people wouldn't immediately make a connection between what the characters are going through and what the author went through. which, i think any unfortunate interpretations of any characters' actions would be difficult for me to swallow. self care tbh ☝️
a lot of the stuff tied to grii and tenta's story had to do with exploring my own trauma as it pertained to comphet, an abusive relationship, etc. etc... but i've kind of come to the point where i don't really feel like i need to dig up those past emotions for the sake of telling a -
i bring this up because being transparent about the inactivity (i don't expect to come back to this account on a regular basis anytime soon) caused the grii and tenta alters to fuse with the author of the thread, who then fused with me

system host here. as another note but i also decided that i don't really like getting attention from strangers that much. i also hesitate against having specific alters be in charge of specific accounts because of how fusion kind of makes that a headache to navigate

I already felt a bit... disappointed with how much life things got in the way of doing Grii and Tenta justice and putting them onto the page. At the very least, I can imagine using another medium like animatics as depiction, but time is another issue

I got a bit unlucky and the classes I signed up for were incredibly packed with work, despite the abroad institution having a reputation for being incredibly relaxed during the summer

Unfortunately options for online multiplayer games are limited due to costs for upkeep, but Super Animal Royale is a wonderful experience. It has a similar microtransaction model, but -tons- of free cosmetics and unlockables. But more importantly, it's fun
"Your options are quite literally 'more expensive games with a high quality' or 'cheaper games that are broken at launch and have predatory monetization' " Only really applies to AAA games. You'll probably find things worthwhile that also are affordable if you look for hidden gems honestly
Like one of my friends works for a professional game studio and she also makes her own videogames. She thinks the switch 2 game prices are ridiculous and is on the same side as everyone else. The people who *appreciate* indie games arent the ones demanding they be cheaper in most cases ,
I'm going to be honest but I don't think that's an equivalent. The people complaining about indie game prices are those who devalue indie games to begin with and believe they're inferior since they're not AAA. Meanwhile I saw people say 24.99 for deltarune is a total steal
