Yay sirens and no power
Yay sirens and no power
Oooh thatβs cool!
Yeah I didnβt expect the glaze to do what it did on the left but itβs a cool look.
A mug with a rough gradient glaze blue at the bottom blue green on top
A mug with an angler fish and a squid on it, there is a darker bit at the bottom that looks like a shadow but kind of isnβt. The mug is sitting on neon grave and hermit crab shells
The tests from the gradient attempts with sprayed on underglaze. The one on the left I think is rad. The color difference is purely from the black underglaze spray in from the bottom. The one on the right had green underglaze. Not super jazzed with the right one. Testing continues!
Ah thank you so much!
Thank you! Itβs new Iβm excited to play with it more
Thank you βΊοΈ
Thanks!
She can join the cool mug club too π€ so glad you like em

Im at a show and feel awkward, I guess cause I havenβt been to one in a while and this one isnβt my crowd? Idk hereβs some mugs
When someone says βScientists do not want you to knowβ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They canβt shut up about what they found out and want you to know.
A guitar top with some braces glue on
Further evidenced by I just realized that I forgot to glue the bridge plate on this guitar and already put one fan brace downβ¦uggggggh
Basically how my brain feels right now.

Also idk if you have access to one but if you ever want to do a mask for the logo, cutting masking tape with a vinyl cutter like a cricut or silhouette is a great option. Thatβs how I do the circles around mine on opaque glazes or dark bodies.
Thanks! I really wanted to do an aquarium but I ran out of time for my friends zine submission dead line. And the hermit crab that lives in our aquarium told me not to disturb her home.
I like the bag version a lot though!
Thatβs what I figured I definitely did the same with my glazes until I knew better how they would behave
A hand holds a clear bag filled with water and a blue green mug with an anglerfish on the side. The mug sits in front of a swirly blue and white background and on top of neon colored aquarium gravel.

Get these weird fish from a pet store I canβt seem to get back to? I keep going to the intersection that it was at, but I just hear a sinister laugh and wake up at home on the couch?

Hey it looks great! The glaze pulls it together nicely. Any particular reason you didnβt glaze over the logo? Itβs look lovely pooled in.
A view looking through the space between the frog and tote on a Stanley no. 4 handplane. Shavings from a spruce guitar brace can be seen in the opening.
I had to use my full size router last night and honestly thatβs one tool I donβt miss not using much. My porter cable probably needs some tlc and that would make it a bit quieter. But I had a much better time hand planing spruce braces before that.
A ceramic mug held by a hand. The mug has bas reliefs of Luna moths, glazed in an emerald crackle color. The deep green glaze flows from high spots and pools in low to create additional depth and detail.

The inside of a sound board with a red routing template peeking out
Wow routing a sound hole like this was way chiller than how I normally bevel the interior. Which is to forget to do it until the box is closed and then do it by hand with a knife from the outside. Flush trimmed to the red printed template then chamfered with a different bit .

Going on the list! Robots eating noodles on the cover?! Iβm in!
An acoustic top with a part being glued to it
Thatβs not goin any where
I am incredibly guilty of this. I spent 40 min making a custom cardboard box to save 2 dollars π and I always thing never again.

Canary wood tastes gross.
A black ballpoint pen sketch of a creature made up of the head and neck of a gerenuk, the body of a monitor lizard with gerenuk markings, and the tail of a tree pangolin. It is viewed from the side, facing to the right of the image. It is coloured/shaded in a basic way with grey Ecolines
A horrible hybrid for today's sketch, of a gerenuk/monitor lizard/tree pangolin
