The Decepticon Air Commander--and the self-appointed leader of the Decepticons due to Megatron's absence--Starscream, addresses Thundercracker, Soundwave, and Reflector: "Let us finally wipe them out for good, and take this treasure trove of a planet for our vicious pleasure! Follow me!" Reflector, who is transformed into a camera and mounted underneath Starscream's jet plane form, exclaims "Time for a violence party!" and since I don't know what musical reference/band it might be where pro wrestler Super Dragon got that from, I am assuming it is a reference to him since one of his signatures moves was a series of strikes known as the Violence Party.

Finally reading the trades of the Daniel Warren Johnson run on Transformers. Nobody else is currently trying to even match him on the sound effects game. I saw people post panels of the more obvious pro wrestling references but the line from Reflector feels like it's a shoutout to PWG's Super Dragon

About two hours into this and really digging it, which isn't shocking since theo ther installments were all pretty enjoyable. Getting a few new film suggestions too, which is always nice.

It's a really solid horror/mystery read with some deeply unsettling sequences. Really I was able to grab this and more of Young's comics at MICE.

Ugh. So many comics and books to read, so little time. But this was a good one and I'm glad I made time for it.

Just finished Hello Sunshine by @keezyyoung.bsky.social and it's so good! Picked it up at MICE, started it a little after, but kind of drifted away with the holidays and prepping for the spring semester. Decided to get back into it tonight and blew through it in one sitting!
