The New Galatea, a grand lady of marble, is carving herself out of a large marble block, in a baroque ruin. She’s given herself an outrageously elaborate marble gown and hairstyle, because she can.
The Rose Queen, in a grand rose gown, is surrounded by her court of elegant bee attendants in a spacious pavilion decked with roses. The bee courtiers are all vying for her attention.
The Storm Goddess, garbed in storm clouds, dances in a thunderstorm, her fingers snapping lightning.
A vast and mysterious faerie entity appears in the swirling clouds over an Italian mountain range, wearing a mystic golden amulet with a wonderful crystal. A lone cloaked traveller looks up at her.

For International Women's Day, I highly recommend the Elemental Logic series by Laurie J. Marks: four books that ought to be known as the Masterworks of Fantasy that they bloody well are. And a bonus: the gorgeous cover art for these editions is by @tanaudel.bsky.social, a very fine writer herself.
Dr. Sara Cleto and Dr. Brittany Warman have done remarkable work with their compendium of faefolk, "Fairylore." It is divine to see a thoroughly researched collection that not only details different folk, but addresses their role in story-telling and legends while also adding tales for each section…
The painting's depth is a direct result of its history. Below the final surface of deep olives, umbers, and acidic yellows lie the "ghosts" of previous iterations: cool teals, bright blues, and expansive whites. This buildup of acrylic media creates a complex, tactile texture that mimics the natural world—suggesting the weathered face of a cliff, the shimmer of moonlight on a dark sea, or the slow oxidation of ancient minerals.
Memory of a dream - a landscape that feels both solid and fleeting—a place that exists only in the space between waking and sleep.
