thank you! I created a 4 piece brick kit, then in Maya I made the blockout structure, extracted a curve from the topology, and used Snap Align Objects. Then I adjusted by hand to get it perfect. For the mortar, I sculpted w/ clay tubes with spray and trim border dynamic w/ a square alpha.
pretty much at the point where I can focus on surfaces and textures exclusively! Will be doing a foliage and terrain pass after the new year 🙂happy holidays

Merry Christmas! Someone stole our rent check and changed the recipient's name to their own and cashed it this morning... Oh, and someone else super glued the lock to our front gate, locking me out at 5am in the rain. I love the holiday spirit!
