I do have a screenshot of the threat, but:
1) He used a fake account that is hard to pinpoint as being him despite it being used to share job opportunities for his company
2) It includes a photograph of my fiance in the threat I am not comfortable in making public
It's crazy.
I'm honestly not a vindictive person, there are only 2 people in this world I can say I "hate" and make a point of speaking up against at any given opportunity. This guy is one of them.
We also found out he was still being searched for by Brazilian police for selling illegal abortion drugs in Brazil
For context, using the phone number on their website we found the owner's previous companies
A previous company was a Media company who had put out a job opening for female content producers, but they could not be Portuguese, because "Portuguese women are depressed and we need good vibes"
2 situations: students that got in because they were partnered with their academic institution (bad call on the institution, but not the student who would assume these partners were vetted) and immigrants that needed to accept despite the obvious red flags
The CEO of this company even threatened me and my fiance (at the time girlfriend) when me and some other members of the Portuguese game dev community called out the red flags in a "job opening" he was sharing
Also, if you opened the webpage in chrome, I recommend Firefox for some extra horror

Rare tech art content: I fix anime eyes in Unreal Engine again. If you want anime style eyes but use shadows, lumen, ssao etc and use established anime eye authoring you will get too much shadow in the eye cavity. My solve is usually re-authoring the eyes and making a parallax uv shader to move em
Final stretch for the AI and Games Kickstarter, it would be nice if it reaches the Unreal stretch goal, only a few hundred pounds away :)
