just from a purely anecdotal perspective this seems flatly untrue. 99% of game developers I know are trying to kill AI with some kind of Large Gun.

I'm proud of how Without a Dawn turned out, but I never expected it to reach "Overwhelmingly Positive" on Steam, given how niche a game it is. Absolutely humbled by this, thank you all! 🥰
