Oh yeah. I've been adding some animations to the opencode desktop app.
π I will! OpenCode is nice and open source, so I should be able to share a lot.
Some news...
Unnecessarily, I converted the effect.institute Effect visualizations to WebGPU.
I don't know why I've been drawn to this particular formatβthis is my third or so attempt in as many yearsβinstead of your standard issue video tutorial.
Hopefully this pedagogic fetish is prevalent in the wider population.
It is time β effect.institute.
2026, the year of ππππππ.
I'm extremely proud of how this turned out. There are many chapters to add, but I do hope you enjoy what's there so far. Let me know what you think. π«‘
www.effect.institute is the coolest course I ever took.
Big props to the @effect-ts.bsky.social team for that level of creativity!

Though I do use a stock AI voice when iterating on the lessons / animations to get some feedback.
Narrating and using Eleven Labs for timestamping :)
Sync vs. Succeed
Failure.
Working on some weird Effect lessons.
Waiting list β effect.institute
Real TypeScript has never been tried.
A nascent effect course.
Creepy recommendation: Make an ElevenLabs voice clone of yourself and then use it to read articles to yourself with their Eleven Reader app. It's sort of like you're hearing yourself think, except you're verbatim thinking other people's blog posts.

TUI OTEL visualizer for Effect programs.
There's also a CLI (+ MCP?) so that Mr. Claude can surface candidate layers and auto-generate the correct composition.
Happy turkey!

Great feedback! I'm going to be working on an incremental adoption section in this collection of best practices and whatnot I'm working on. I will absolutely mention managed runtimes there. π₯°

I really wish Apple just shipped with this. The technology is here. What are they doing?
Yep, yep, yep, it's actually insane.
(Sorry for posting a video of the other site. But, more importantly, PARAKEET IS SO GOOD!!!)

Ah, yes! I've done this with my previous visual site (effect.kitlangton.com/effect-all). I'll add it here too. (Currently, it works by option-clicking a lesson on the Effect site. I probably need to make that more obvious.)
Oh, and thanks very much! π₯°
