This is accidentally my second post on the topic. I'm sorry. But given that this issue is on a Klingon wearing Khionian formal wear, and the last one was on a white guy becoming CEO, and both had arguments that the move was "woke"...
I have so many questions for them. But also, please go away.

Recently, a section of the Star Trek fandom kicked off "this show is woke" as it featured a Klingon "wearing a skirt".
Even ignoring the obvious, 1) there are several episodes of Klingons in long formal wear, 2) TNG formal wear, and 3) Scotland.
Most importantly, 4) IT'S NOT EVEN IN THE EPISODE.
Enjoying the weird mental gymnastics that the internet is trying to do to claim that hiring a white man with a wife as CEO is somehow part of the woke agenda.
Intentionally not covering the Q2 Remedy rumours on the site. Rumours are fun to speculate on, like trademark filings, but... I don't know, it feels different when there's a name connected. Individual sleuthing is fine, but I don't know if it needs to be promoted on the site.

The Book:
The post about the NYVGCC auction was written after Scratch's revised blood work. I was so happy. The F.A.S.T posts were written outside during the Summer with a designated hour in the day. The Game Awards wrap-up was at 6 am after a coffee and a Red Bull, followed by a nap. I like those moments.
LRT The Year In Reviews typically don't do as well as posts, but I kinda love doing them. I enjoy taking stock of the past year and remembering all the things that happened. It's part news stories, and part memories of finding moments in the day to write. (1/2)

I'm just glad that they haven't blacklisted her, to be honest.

Honestly, what a plot! Before we adopted her, she just disappeared for six months and no one knows where she went.
It does mean that we've gone from "we suspect she has cancer" to "probably just the meds acting up" in a space of a couple of days. I've aged 15 years just from the emotional whiplash. I am so relieved, and it's the best news I've ever been given.
To be fair, I was also uncooperative (and so was my blood) during my own blood tests. I'm on the cats side.
My tiny friend is fine! She came home last night, much to the relief of the vets who carefully chose the word "feisty" to describe her. They're also not as concerned as they were Friday, as they believe she had a rare reaction to the meds, but they're still keeping an eye on it.
It looks like her recent illness was more serious. The emergency vets before tried to pass it off like it was nothing and charged +£500, and... something didn't feel right. She's going to stay at her vet for a second night. She's on painkillers, antibiotics and IV.
Ouch! That sounds unplesant for everyone involved! 🫂
GUESS WHO IS AT THE VET FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY.
She's fine, but she went in for blood tests (for thyroid) this morning and then they realised that she's still recovering from her recent illness and kept her in to help speed it along.
Looking forward to next weekend when she will randomly decide to lick a plug socket
Last weekend, we had to go to the emergency vet because Scratch was just pooping blood. Just blood. Apparently cats can just do that. It's chill.
This weekend started with Scratch refusing to eat anything.
Now she's content, full belly and napping like she hasn't made me age ten years in one week.
Today I rescued a tiny angry dog from a motorway relief road. He had broken through the garden gate and just started wandering towards the cars with his little legs. Was he relieved? Heck no, I ruined his plans of freedom and sniffing. He complained constantly. I loved him.
There's something dodgy going on with the algorithms lately, I've been getting the same with my personal, my hobbies, and at work. Believe me, it's not you, you're delightful. 🫂❤️
I've been bouncing between PowerWash Simulator 2, my book, and bed. Scratch has just camped up on the bed on her fluffy blanket. It's her bed now, she just allows me to steal a corner at night.
Today has been better; I can breathe through my nose, and she's exploring the garden.
