Stella has a history of going for hookups pre-ARR (originally it was just to get over a bad breakup, and then it was just sort of the only thing that worked with her travel-heavy job) but after a FWB proposed to her (unwanted) she swore off entanglements for a while lmao, so that influences things

it doesn't go anywhere until after the Bloody Banquet. It is still a slow burn after that though in a way because Stella is afraid of Serious Relationships at this point and tries (and fails) to keep it to a one time thing, then a FWB situation... meanwhile Haurchefant has already fallen hard 😭🙏

it's a bit of a slow burn but less so (Stellianger takes 3 years Source time to happen!!). There's definitely chemistry w Haurche from the beginning, but Stella is Going Through It when they first meet so that kind of puts a hold on things. In the ARR patches they're increasingly flirty but +

it's to his personality, his mannerisms, his hands, his smile. Urianger on the other hand notices that she is attractive from the beginning, but he is demi so the actual spark of attraction doesn't happen for him until they become quite close. After that though he is doomed 😌

With Haurchefant,

I usually like a slow burn. With Stella and Urianger, it is very slow - they're quickly interested in one another but it's as friends. Stella doesn't even see Urianger without his hood and goggles for the first year and a half they know each other, so when she *does* start developing attraction +
