they started as a fun thought experiment but it ran away with me haha, i'd love to draw n develop them more! (beck also has his own stuff going on that i've had sitting around for almost a year, but been too shy to post rip)

their relationship swings between paternal and sexually charged, which creates a lot of confusion and guilt. they care deeply for each other and struggle to accept that there is no positive outcome for either of them if they stay together. so the relationship is kinda doomed.

ted is at least 2 decades older. they hold a mirror to each other - a past ted cannot return to, and a future courtney would rather avoid, if only he had the courage to pursue his happiness over obligation and self-sacrifice.

u would never know it bc all i do is post my characters nude with no context (lmao), but courtney lives in a small seaside town and works in commerical fishing, more through obligation and unfortunate circumstances than real desire for it.
