I hand-dyed this fabric using liquid Rit dye & stitched the alphabet and border details with COSMO Seasons.

I use them all the time, even with small projects. It helps me catch so many potential mistakes!

So I just do grids of 10. I don't have any problems pulling them out, usually. I just try to be careful when stitching near the intersection points because if you don't, the x's can be a little messy.

I've been added some leaves to last week's swirly tree!

In my first year or two of cross stitch, I was stitching pretty much everything on just plain white aida. Dyed aida just makes everything look so much better!

That fabric you're using is so gorgeous, I'm excited to see the finished result!
