I've learned never to pressure people into situations where they might regret it regardless.
Ease them into the culture and communities first. let them learn, let them live.
Especially going to a trans remembrance memorial for hate victims. The LA LGBT+ Center taught so much about the trans community that night in their theater and so much more about that and the community.
When people are looking for connections offline, it's not easy, breaking...

My first positive experiences w/ the community were places I chose I felt comfortable going to, like pride.
