""The Trump administration is using the threat of detention and deportation to suppress speech it disfavors"--@carriedecell.bsky.social on CITR v. Rubio, the case we filed this morning www.npr.org/2026/03/09/n...
Graph showing that about half of people in state prisons are parents to children under 18
On any given day, 1.25 million kids are without their parents because of mass incarceration.
The Constitution unambiguously gives only Congress the power to declare war.
Our elected leaders in Congress must reassert their role as the people's representatives and take action now before more lives are lost.
Anyway: what are YOU going to do to make in-person connections safe for disabled people, queer but especially trans people, for kids who can't drive? If the answer is "nothing" don't blame them for not logging off.
βIt was so sudden and unexpected. It felt like she never really had a chance.β
SCOOP β Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.
My report:
This is a good reminder to bug @amro.dev againπ€
@newsfromgoogle.bsky.social have any idea news about why this is so broken?

Drum roll, please? The warning is back again a few hours later!
Still no indication of *which link* has the malware.
Requesting another review.
Trump wants to be a king, unilaterally declaring war on his own country and abroad. We need to stop him. First: a massive show of refusal. Join No Kings in San Francisco on March 28 at 11:30 AM at Embarcadero Plaza.

I lack the words to capture it, but ... it's just endlessly remarkable to me that so many people in our society have chosen trans kis -- TRANS KIDS, the smallest, least significant, most vulnerable demographic slice you could possibly pick -- as a repository for all their fears & insecurities.
What a waste of my time. Today the warning is gone. No explanation. Thanks, Google!
NEW: As we've seen the raids & ICE surges, everyone has had so many questions.Β 'what can states do?' 'what can cities do?' 'what can one ask a sheriff, governor, zoning board, to do?!'
you sent us a lot of your questions.
we just answered 9 of them. i learned a ton myself, i think you will to.
"More than 3,600 American-made alcohol products were pulled from LCBO shelves and taken off the menus at restaurants and bars across the province, marking an βenormous hitβ to U.S. producers as Ontario said it had sold $965 million worth of their alcohol annually." www.cp24.com/local/toront...
And... even if I restore older versions from before I got this warning, the alert doesn't go away.
Still no idea what is triggering this warning.
Screenshot of the body of an email from Google saying that based on internal checks and an automated review, they've determined it *might* violate the Malware and Similar Malicious Content policy.
And now they've sent me this in email...
@amro.dev sorry to ping you, but if this GoogleDoc is taken down because of some mistake in malware flagging I'm going to be really annoyed. I'm also going to be really annoyed if ther *is* malware but Google won't enable me to remove it!
Seriously - why would their own tools say no malware, but then Trust & Safety say my file is under review?
"Based on the information provided in the screen and search results, there is no evidence of malware in the links shown. The document appears to be a community resource for local advocacy, and the links point to legitimate, well-known organizations and secure platforms." - Google
There wasn't any indication of WHICH link caused the issue, so I couldn't fix this myself.
This seems like a really bizarre & unclear warning & process.
Screenshot of a Google Drive warning that says: Google will review your file. Someone from Google's Trust & Safety team will review your file as soon as possible
Should I be worried?
I manage a community events GoogleDoc with hundreds, possibly thousands, of links. When I look at the version history, I am the only person to ever have made edits to it. And yet today I got a warning that the document requires Google review.
On another platform a colleague shared this workshop information, for folks interested in demilitarization. I've learned a lot from American Friends Service Committee here in California. Highly recommended.
