Feels like I'm losing my fucking mind. Though that is deliberate from the Government and Press. This headline is designed to spread fear and hate against trans people, to fuel their narrative of trans people predating on youth and that HRT is dangerous and evil. Anti-trans propaganda 101...
Trans people are at risk because the UK have banned trans youth healthcare, and adult HRT pathways are unfit for purpose. If you want to stop DIY HRT or 'black market trans hormones' then lift the fucking ban and make all types of HRT free and accessible through NHS GPs. It's not rocket science.
In 2013/2014 the UK was Europe's trend setter in Transgender Equality. In 2025, after years of decline, it ranked 22nd with a score of only 45.65% on ILGA Europe's metrics. We cannot accept this continued decline, we must fight it in every way we can - from the ballot box and beyond.

I don't think Labour are going to be serious vote splitters in many places. The left wing vote is almost wholly abandoned them and with each Plaid/Green/Lefty Independent victory that happens, Labour will lose even more votes as the true left show it's electability
Calling it now, at least one Labour and/or Conservative candidate will finish below a Monster Raving Loony Party candidate at the next UK General Election.

For a long time I've been deeply depressed by UK electoral politics. What @greenparty.org.uk, @zackpolanski.bsky.social, Hannah Spencer, and Lindsay Whittle have done in their two by-election results of late is give me hope. It's been a long tike since I've had any genuine hope. I'm so grateful 💚

The Greens' threat to Labour from its left is very real but continues to be underplayed by the media and Labour itself. If they have any sense, that changes from today—with some concrete shifts in policy.

This single statement more clearly demonstrates how Cass, a doctor with no history or background in trans care, based her entire review into the field on her hazy memories/lazy revisionism of the 1970s rather than any literature or clinical understanding. She is the charlatan - not those she decries
Hillary Cass claimed (15/02/26) on national TV that back in the 1970s trans people didn't exist, it was just young boys who later grew up to be gay. Aside from the fact this is categorically wrong and an act of historic revisionism, it also demonstrates her complete lack of knowledge in the field...
Not to mention the University of York studies that underpinned the Cass Review and emboldened her position have been shown to have both misrepresented the data they used and completely fabricate others!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hillary Cass is to trans healthcare what Andrew Wakefield was to Vaccine studies. Wrong, deranged, dangerous, and her work will kill children.
She should be treated as such, not lauded or given appointments. Her career cannot end soon enough.
