Moreover the proposed solution should be (extremely) sensitive to the tissue conductive properties, which cannot be derived from standard anatomical MRIs, apart for an approximate spatial distribution, cf. hdl.handle.net/2268/288747 and hdl.handle.net/2268/294662

Quick check of the paper mentioned here under and it's rather "opaque". 🤔
Key point IMO is confusing Maxwell's equations time dependence and brain waves time scale. Anisotropy and inhomogeneity in tissue conductivity is important but it lives very well with the "quasi-static approximation".
We are hiring a PhD candidate for a fully funded project on Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) MR imaging at the @giga-crc-hi.bsky.social! The project aims at applying CEST MRI to study ageing and detect AD-related biomarkers.
