He's been decent, but that isn't his natural role, so I think we have started suffering from that recently. Need a bit more dynamism and natural creativity. Like Gnonto or Okafor offer.

Plus also we know DCL needs someone playing close to him, otherwise his numbers fall off... hence the not scoring for a while.

He receives the long balls well, but his first control isn't tidy (understandable), so need someone available to win the 2nd ball imo.

Yeah I think the fact he has spoken about our lack of goals recently a few times means it is on his mind. He always follows a pattern of certain actions just before changes happen :).

I don't think being braver needs much at all tbh. We had so many defensive players on the pitch against Sunderland. Just swap Gruev for Tanaka or Gnonto and have Ampadu and Stach looking after midfield more. Also means we have a reliable DM for when Stach tires later on.
