Local magpies have been carefully dismantling a large nest in the hood the last few weeks. The wind took down the last of it! Curious if they’ll salvage the sticks for their new build.
Even on Friday when we did the BIG WALK, my glasses (and I’m sure the rest of me) was a speckled mess!
We drove over it yesterday. It was especially splashy. We tend to avoid crossing it on foot on windy days!

Riding the LRT South in Edmonton I can’t help thinking of tourists who arrive at Fort Edmonton Park station expecting a park. Disappointed, they board a train back that says “Blatchford Market” for some retail therapy.
Great cities are built on great transportation systems. We should do better.
