I think this might be the game that forces me to upgrade to a Switch 2. I love the concept, and you all seem to be having so much fun playing

Once again I find myself more proud of one of my nationalities than the other.
The Spanish prime minister has more of a backbone than anyone in the Australian government..
I almost threw my phone away in disgust at this story from Tuesday.
Won't someone think of the poor cruise-goers in these trying times?

Are you a game developer based in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand with an exciting announcement to share with the world in early June?
Frosty Games Fest 2026 applications are OPEN NOW! 🍦
A photo of the town Valkenburg, Limburg, the Netherlands. There are grey roofed buildings surrounded by green hills, under a grey, overcast sky
Sorry, I was being a bit cheeky 😉 I have seen kids sledding down the side of a slope created by an Albert Heijn carpark before, so I know they can be creative with the definition of "hill", haha
And yes, I visited Limburg right before I left, beautiful area! Took this photo of Dutch hills, amazing.
This is beautiful, but I am so curious where Nijntje found a hill to cycle up in the Netherlands
a chart showing Australia's greenhouse gas emissions being above the 43% target, and probably going to be above the 62% by 2035 target as well
* a chart showing that greenhouse gas emissions for both Anthony Albanese's first fourteen quarters and Scott Morrison's first 15 quarters have been pretty much roughly the same
- Australia's emissions continue to trend well above the trajectory towards the 2030 target of a 43% reduction (including unreliable land-use data)
- Albanese is 1 quarter away from matching Scott Morrison's tenure; fossil emissions have remained pretty much the same (this excludes land-use data)
Thank you! 💚 I'm sorry you're still unwell. And apologies that I did not get to speak with your husband. Somehow I felt like I talked with everyone and no one, I was so busy..
A post by Kobi Shetty MP, member for Balmain with a photo of a large group of people waving at the camera, taken at our bike bus & action day for reopening the Glebe Island Bridge. Text at the top says "We did it, Glebe Island Bridge reopening confirmed"
Yay!
Yay, Glebe Island Bridge confirmed to be reopening for pedestrians and cyclists!
We did it! 🤯🎉

Though it's currently midnight in the Netherlands, so might be a while before any fish activity today..
Oh yay, it's Fish Doorbell time of year!
In Utrecht there's a closed lock along a canal that migrating fish end up using.
So the council have installed a webcam, and the public can press a button (aka ring the doorbell) when they see a fish that needs to get through.

Oof these responses to the petition by the US/Canadian game dev union.
It's only marginally better in Europe and Australia. Luckily personally I've only been laid off once, and with decent severance. But I know a lot of people across AAA and indie studios who have experienced much worse.
Wait, so all this time I've not been drinking milk from cows that have exclusively been fed almonds? 😱
We now see you for what you are. The three war parties: One Nation, the Coalition and Labor who have never seen a US war they don't want to back in. Millions of Australians disagree with you. They want a government of principle, they want a government of peace.
omg I know the feeling. Every time I used to come back here for a holiday from NL/UK it really struck me how intense the sky is.
If it helps, it was 33 degrees and like 80% humidity, so I was incredibly uncomfortable and sweaty this whole video..
I borrowed my friend's fancy 360 camera for our Glebe Island Bridge bike bus/action day last week - don't think I'm the world's best video editor, but here's my attempts to capture the fun of the day www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sPg...
Go Matildas! Sam Kerr back in fine form 💪🏼
Okay so let me get this straight, a oligarch country that elected a suspected pedophile & known rapist over his Christian values, and an illegally nuclear genocidal apartheid nation that keeps electing war criminals to do war crimes, those are the good guys because they bombed a primary girls school
Great to come home from an anti-genocide rally to the news about that genocidal state bombing someone else. Far out.
We had to clean a brown trouser situation the other night and literally the only thing that would stop Yuki from squirming was head smoochies. So I provided a 15 minute long head smoochy session while Tim snipped away at her poo pants..
Feel like this article should have had a trigger warning. 30 years already?
*crumbles to dust*
omg this photo is amazing. The lens flare!
I should try and get a photo, but the little streetsweepers that can also fit in the bike lanes are great! (Last time I was too busy trying not to get street swept)
Yay, congrats UK Greens! Super inspiring! 💚
Cutest little rubbish truck spotted in Sydney.
Scale your vehicles to your city, don’t scale your city to your vehicles!
OK my Dutch cycling wet weather gear is not up to dealing with Sydney storm rain.
Aw. Still recovering from the flu I guess? Hopefully you continue to recover quickly!
Ah, this is the vibe of my panic posts yesterday about somehow now being involved with all local transport decisions. Slightly different circumstances (I sort of want everyone to bike their kids to school), but.. yeah.
Lol, going to need a bigger shovel there Albo
