Lots of art is perfectly adequate. Art is still valuable and enjoyable even when it's not a complete masterpiece. Anyone who says otherwise is just being pretentious. In my opinion.

Nobody has to like the last three books, but RJ's decision should be respected. Author's choosing what will happen to their properties after they die is the part that's "based".

Like, RJ decided that he wanted the books finished after he was gone. They're his books, it was his choice. His *editor and wife* chose the author who finished it, and there isn't a person more qualified to make that decision.
