When I wrote my camps book, people sometimes had difficulty understanding how concentration-camp regimes were proud of what they were doing and wanted attention for it, even as they also hoped to keep many aspects secret and terrorize vulnerable classes. Anyway, this is what that looks like.

I've been learning all of the #boardgames in the Century series. This is my second, Century Eastern Wonders. A resource trading game with very short term engines you run that are tied to where you are on the map. It was fun and satisfyingly complicated #boardgame
Man I really liked this game. Small scale co-op adventure combat game that was intense and satisfying. #boardgame #boardgames
You know, my family is trying to have kids someday, and with all the news I had a lot of worries about the hypothetical future kids’ lives, but I didn’t actually know “will there still be colleges for them to attend” needed to be on the list

A very simple engine builder resource gather. Century Spice Road. Basically you okay cards to run engines and eventually get the top cards. Very simple and plays pretty quick. Was fun. #boardgames #boardgame

I'm surprised I've never tried #orleans before. It's on #bga if you want to try it out. It's a strange combination of worker placement, map management, and progression track. Probably one of my favorite games I've learned so far this year. #boardgame #boardgames
The speed and simplicity of combat. It was pretty quick in general and did have the right feel for a half life or unreal tournament.
Played a game from 20 years ago called #frag . Basically it's an old school #fps made into a board game. Was simple and fun. Good blast from the past from #stevejacksongames #boardgame #boardgames
