I'm really excited for this one! Back during my PhD years, when I first started thinking of the 'Description-Experience gap,' I drew a lot of inspiration from @arc-mpib.bsky.social excellent work on the topic. Full circle to now discuss my research on it there!
No matter what, we’ll probably see a new NBA champion (except the Knicks, none of the final four have won before - I don't count the Sonics 1979 as OKC). Plus, a 7th different champ in 7 years (TR, LAL, MB, GSW, DN, BC, ??). Both reflect the league’s growing parity—I like it.
