Congratulations to Penn State THON on another record-shattering year! Over $18.8M raised to support kids and families battling pediatric cancer. I am always so impressed and inspired by the dancers and countless student volunteers behind the scenes who make it all happen. Bravo!
Iβm thrilled to announce that $130,000 has been awarded to Happy Valley Adventure Bureau for the 2026 State Games of America!

May your month be filled with peace, hope, and blessings.
I had a great time last night helping judge the Charneyβs Chopped fly tying competition hosted by Spring Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited, alongside legendary fly fisherman Joe Humphreys. It was so much fun seeing the skill and creativity of all the contestants!
Yesterday, Rep. Conklin and I met with students at SCASD's Delta Program to talk about proposed legislation requiring cell phone bans in schools. I appreciated the opportunity to listen, answer questions, and hear directly from the students who will impacted by these decisions.
Iβm proud to share that more than $203,000 in state transportation funding is coming to College Township to improve safety along the Route 26 (College Avenue) corridor.
This Black History Month, we honor the countless contributions of the Black community to our nation and our world. And in the face of growing racism and intolerance, recommit ourselves to the ongoing work of creating a more just, equitable, and inclusive Pennsylvania for all.
It was an honor to once again participate in Leadership Centre Countyβs Government Day and meet the new cohort of community leaders. Iβm especially excited that my District Office Director, Sonia Kaufman, is part of this outstanding program.

Join us on Thursday, February 19th, for a town hall conversation about Pennsylvaniaβs environmental future.
Weβll talk about current legislative and budget priorities, bipartisan opportunities, and my own priorities for 2026. But most importantly, I want to hear from you. I hope youβll join!
Gov. Shapiroβs 2026-27 budget proposal invests in the future of all Pennsylvanians. It reflects key priorities that will make life better for families across the commonwealth: from public education, workforce, transit, * infrastructure to addressing the rising costs of energy, healthcare, & housing.
Yesterday, I joined my colleagues on the PA House Education Committee for a hearing on how Pennsylvaniaβs Kβ12 schools are performing after the investments we've made over the past three years to close unconstitutional funding gaps.
Punxsutawney Phil has spoken β six more weeks of winter! βοΈ π§
Cold weather can be tough, but help is available. If youβre struggling with heating bills, my office is here to assist with navigating programs, including PAβs Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
Today, we remember the 6 million Jews and millions of others murdered during the Holocaust and reaffirm our enduring commitment to fight hatred and bigotry everywhere.
May we never forget.
The Property Tax and Rent Rebate (PTRR) and Low-Income Heating Assistance (LIHEAP) programs are now open!
And we're here to help!
We will be hosting a series of clinics across the district to walk you through the application process.
To apply, please bring:
We must all play a part & use the power we each have as the people of this great nation to hold an increasingly out-of-control federal government in check to our will and consent, not the other way around.
If we remain silent now, how long will it be before they come for our neighbors, and for us?
No matter how or when we arrived here, as heirs and stewards of our shared American values we are now tasked with standing side by side with the brave patriots who first asserted our rights 250 years ago and the generations of Americans who have defended our freedoms ever since.
And the power-hungry leaders who sent them tell us to ignore the evidence we can see with our own eyes. Today they are in Minnesota. Where will they be next?
This is not right. Enough is enough. We must stand together and declare once again that our liberty and rights are not negotiable or for sale
Masked secret police - dressed up like storm troopers from a video-game - roam American streets with impunity. When they hurt or kill someone, they withhold evidence and claim innocence, while video from bystanders reveals their lies.
Recent events in Minnesota make it clear that our American ideals and principles are under attack from within. An occupying force of poorly trained, aggressive, and unaccountable federal agents are violating the law and the rights of our citizens, including killing Americans exercising their rights.
Second is a commitment to preserve, protect and defend those precious Rights as enshrined in our Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. Our freedom of speech, protest, and yes, the right to bear arms, are there -along with essential protections against the tyranny of an all-powerful government
Two things make us Americans.
First is our belief in the self-evident truth that we are all created equal and are endowed with βcertain unalienable Rights, among which are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happinessβ.
