Tech bros love to act like they understand everything about every field of knowledge just cuz they know how to code, while simultaneously bragging about willingly losing those skills to automation, they think they just have some inherent irreplaceable brilliance, but everyone else is disposable.

It’s funny seeing AI companies screaming “SENTIENT! SENTIENT!” about their shitty bloatware every time they need their stock prices to go up, when we as a species have BARELY even begun to start unraveling what sentience and consciousness even are.

I kinda stopped being a misanthrope myself when I came to the realization that things are the way they are because the world is already run by misanthropes.

This glaze is notoriously finnicky so I’m not surprised it didn’t come out perfect on the first try, at least we now have a point of reference to see where we need to go to make it work

The red is supposed to come out more intense and without the cloudiness like in this example tile, but it seems like the kiln didn’t quite reach the appropriate temprerature this glaze needs, so we’re going to re-fire it on the next kiln load to see if that fixes the cloudiness

This one didn’t come out the way I expected but it was still a pretty interesting result

It’s hard to not feel infinitely small when your best efforts do so little while your enemies are collapsing every fiber of society for their own amusement

My current form of doomscrolling is reading through the profile of asshole tech bros and start internalizing all the shit they talk about us “common folk” because at the end of the day they’re bending the world to their psychopathic will while I’m here doing my little drawings and my little pottery

Legit, I played it for the first time just last year and it doesn’t show its age at all, looks better than many games coming out today

that graphically demanding compared to most of the other AAA games of this generation that boast about their cutting edge visuals

They’re definitely using it to its fullest potential and it would be great to see the behind the scenes decisions to achieve these looks, but I have to say I have not played a single one of the RE engine games where I have not been blown away by the visuals, especially for a game that’s not even-

I’ve been breaking my head in figuring out how to incorporate my style and artistic sensibilities into pottery and I think I’ve finally done a big breakthrough with this one, It really does feel like my work

It’s on the smaller side so definitely, I’m just so happy with the shape

The RE engine needs to be studied
