Welcome March 2026!!
#RogueFlowers, William Street in Edinburgh's West End
The central garden in Edinburgh's Charlotte Square is roughly a 100-metre by 100-metre square (approx. 1 hectare). I'm impressed that the entire garden is encircled with crocus bulbs. Welcome Spring!
A little evening sunlight on Princes Street Gardens yesterday
π Gorgeous purple crocuses at St Mary's Cathedral in Edinburgh's West End. It seemed like the crocus-cups were open in the sun in the morning, but they were all closed when I visited late afternoon. I missed the chance.
Always adorable, one of the many charming double snowdrops G. nivalis 'Flore Pleno' is guaranteed to form impressive carpets of white chubby flowers.

At the start of the day. π LNER Azuma has just left the station. Have a lovely day wherever you are!!
Roses are red, violets are blue... The day was bathed in sunlight and soft shadows. βοΈ

The sun changes my mood entirely. βοΈ Finally a sunny morning's walk in St James's Park, London. #Daffodils
I had layers on, so I didn't feel cold on the surface, but strangely enough I felt the inside of the body chilled: guts. The temperature was 1 degree. #Edinburgh
Yesterday I got off one station before my stop because there was something in Edinburgh's West End I wanted to see, but it was too early. St Mary's Cathedral Edinburgh, the snowdrops here are double-flowered. (Double Snowdrops)
The 1st photo: I took them on 21 February 2022.
It was windy and gray all day without any sun. However, for some reason, the sky showed slight sunrise and sunset glows. It rarely goes according to schedule because of 4 transfers and 6 rides. The scenery always calms my restless mind. 4 out of 6, delays or disruption yesterday. π βοΈ π βοΈ π
It was so freezing, I didn't think I could stay long at the cemetery. However, January, after Christmas, is the most time-consuming month for cleaning. It took an hour. His local friends remember to bring flowers on Christmas & the death anniversary. I'm so grateful and cleared it away with respect.

I went to the supermarket to buy some Daffodils at Β£1 a bunch before the sky clouded over. Then the florist to buy additional Dwarf Daffodils, Mimosas are already being sold and overflowing with spring there. I'm ready for tomorrow.
The views from my hotel room. The horizon was ablaze with fiery red.

This is where I usually sit, and my cozy space.

Taken exactly two weeks ago, at 4.22 PM.
Walk along the cobbled street of William Street in the West End of Edinburgh, and you'll encounter historic buildings and charming landmarks.
Cozy Christmas vibe. #RogueFlowers
December morning, London Docklands from Muswell Hill. Looked down the former railway line connecting Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace, currently the longest linear nature reserve in London at 4km in length, from the bus window. Muswell Hill railway station existed from 1873 to 1954, but now gone.
Sweet Gum, it is quite a majestic tall tree and transforms itself every early December. Its leaves turn a rich red colour which makes it stand out in St Paul's Churchyard.
It gets dark soon these days. π
Today I got a lot done.
...but there are some things I can't finish because I'm waiting. π«€
I could see the opposite shores - Leith, Portobello, Musselburgh and North Berwick - from Kirkcaldy Promenade 2 days ago, but yesterday it was the other way around. I was staring at Kirkcaldy from Portobello Promenade for a while.
...Then a rain cloud was approaching, so I started walking back to Kirkcaldy railway station.
2 days ago: The rain stopped by the time I got back to the Kirkcaldy Bus Station and it was unbelievable how sunny it turned out in a short time. So, I went to the promenade. A passerby asked me what I was eating. Chicken Tikka Roll from Bayne's the Family Bakers, it's tasty.
Very strong wind all day, it was so cold that there wasn't a single bird yesterday. π¦’ πSt Margaret's Loch, Holyrood Park, Edinburgh
