When I first discovered the fandom on dial up internet on my Sega Dreamcast - the fandom was so US-centric. There was nothing for a young UK fur to attend. Plus I was broke. If I had been more successful straight outta uni it could have been a different story.
This is an exciting week because I'm off to @londonfurs.bsky.social on Saturday and this has been an awful long time coming for me. This is me getting over myself a little bit and making time for something that feels important even if it turns out not to be. I cannot live with the what ifs!
