A cool thing I've never done before: they bring together the authors in a special journal issue, after receiving our peer reviews, to have a public seminar and discuss. You can email the organizer if you're interested in joining!
Today seems like a good day to note that, for the first time ever under Mike Schill's leadership, UO calendar purposefully avoided starting class on RH or Yom Kippur. I don't think he observed much himself, but at a break-fast meal, he committed to me + others that he would handle this. And he did.
