GPs to be paid £20 per A&G request in bid to cut hospital waiting lists GPs will be paid £20 for undertaking advice and guidance (A&G) with consultants, as part of reforms to reduce the elective waiting list.

While there is a pressing need to modernise general practice, the Government's new measures do not address the critical GP shortage we are experiencing within the profession.

The focus on #GeneralPractice is welcome, but we need Wes Streeting and the Health Department to urgently listen to GPs.

We need fair funding, a proper retention plan, and the freedom to do our job or patients will continue to suffer.
