Monday and Tuesday weather in Folly Beach SC was less than ideal, but today there was sun!
And I found a friend.

Fantastic weekend with these reprobates. At Charlotte airport to start next leg of the trip. On to Charleston, plane change in Atlanta. Flights delayed by a couple hours. Looked like I wouldn't make the connecting flight, but with both delayed, so far it's working out. So far...

Instead, I'd like to highlight the world as seen through the lens of @zzclaybourne.bsky.social in The Brothers Jetstream Universe.

Both settings draw on old myths and place them in modern times.

And this time I'm headed to Phoenix for a wedding, back Monday. Very happy the flight is not delayed or cancelled. Crossing fingers the flight out of Phoenix is okay.

We are literally drowning and need help!

The worst #flooding our area has seen in 60 years submerged our #CatShelter. Keeping the #cats safe was a huge challenge, and the shelter suffered significant damage.

On yet another flight. This time a one night stay in Raleigh for a wake for an old friend. He was only 58. Proves the old adage, anybody, anytime. Hug your friends when you get to see them.
