My babies have grown up 😭 Look how tiny they were - Pistachio was even smaller than Jellybean, oh how the tables have turned (this was before I got Pumpkin Seed!) I think you can see why we thought Pistachio was a dwarf lol - she was just so tiny, but she proved us all wrong!
Yesterday I found out that Cracker and Crumb have a very special skill, which is to spin in synch! I've never asked them to spin at the same time before, so I was pretty impressed with how well they did!

Pistachio has been such a sweet bean recently - she's really gained a lot of confidence, and its so nice seeing her willing to engage with me. I love my confident rats but there is something so special about seeing a skittish rat like Pistachio gain her confidence and become a smoosh ❤️

I got my girls some bacon scented edible bubbles and I really thought they'd enjoy chasing them around...as it turns out they just wanted to eat them lol, they spent the entire time just tracking down bubble clusters to lick (see Chickpea's yoshi tongue at the start!) Oh well, at least they had fun!
I was practicing some ring toss with Cracker yesterday and Chickpea got curious...only for some reason she decided the ring toss prop is evil and spent half the time trying to chew it up!

Pistachio was chilling in a hammock, so I had to take this rare opportunity to get some pets in. Stash is a bit of a skittish girl and tends to always sleep with the other rats, but despite that she enjoys being held and will often chill in my lap for pets during free-range.
Toast combining weaves, fetch, and basketball! Toast is an older girl who prefers to referee the younger girls training time now, but even now she enjoys the occasional practice session!

Happy wolfie Wednesday everyone! This week Feta and Chickpea decided to try and synch their molting patterns - they did a pretty good job of it too, although its a bit harder to see on Feta. Great fashion choices as always girls!

Peaches doing her sponge painting trick! For such a sensitive rat Peaches really didn't mind paint or water, and that led to us experimenting with some fun unique versions of paintings like seen here.

Crackers assisted basketball trick is too cute to me - it takes quite a bit of impulse control on her part to wait for me to bring her over to the hoop, so I'm very proud of her for figuring it out!

I love this clip of Espresso, while she was more of an adventurous rat vs a cuddler, she always enjoys hanging out with me and would often perch on my lap or shoulder in between running time. She really was a confident and sweet rat!
One of my favorite Blueberry clips, that being when she tried on a sweater and then did some of her favorite tricks in it! Even for Blueberry this sweater was a bit big, but she made it work & looked adorable in it!

So I tried to get some photos of Feta, Jellybean, and Crumb sharing a mini donut...safe to say no one was pleased about the whole sharing part! Half this photoshoot was me retrieving the donut from whatever corner each rat dragged it off to lol, they really aren't great at sharing! 😅
