Wanting to write multiple things at once is a constant problem, and every time I think I can do it, I fail MISERABLY

I feel like itβs a proud moment in your author career when you struggle to hold all your books up. And Iβm missing at least 6 here
My silly quest to write a million words this year continues!
February was a tough month with being ill and away from the desk a lot, but I'm at 115,000. I definitely have to step it up in March to get more on track but I'm feeling good. But first a beer and a nap
Kings Of The Sky is up to 45k words! This is the most vikingy thing Iβve ever written and I think Iβm almost halfway there. Letβs goooo
Sometimes you just need to flee to a cabin and a log fire to get the words done

I already donβt have enough shelves for this cruel, wonderful obsession. How many books have you got on yours?
My new Viking science fantasy KINGS OF THE SKY is up to 25k words.
That means I'm up to 100k words written this year, and a tenth of the way towards my million word challenge. Somehow I'm still on track!
Meet The Written: the book that started it all for me. Itβs the start of a 7-book series and a mashup of all kinds of Norse mythology, lots of magic, talking dragons (of course) morally grey characters, a murder mystery, and lots of emotion. And itβs also on sale this week!

Donna's got it right. Even if it's got a little hint of SFF, I want to know. Bring me your dragons and your magic, your cyborgs and space battles. What about you? What books are tickling your biscuit in 2026?
Everyone has low and difficult days, but whenever Iβm having one, this bookish community is always to cheer me up with its passion, productivity, and hilarity. Even indirectly.
Keep doing what youβre doing and thank you for doing it.

While my new scifi is in the editing stages, I'm also working on something new. Here's a little title reveal for you!
KINGS OF THE SKY is a viking flavoured science fantasy that will have a pinch of horror, lots of action and dark comedy, and that's all I'm saying for now...
I will not pop the balloon of illusion
Fun fact, when I first came up with the idea for my scifi Fateβs Razor in 2011, it was originally called Destinyβs Childrenβ¦
Oops
Itβs done! My first ever scifi cyberpunk FATEβS RAZOR is finished at 160,000 words! I am so very happy right now.
I took a few extra days to write some finishing touches but it is now DONE and itβs time for the editing stage
