Magdalena Jones, to her credit, was born a shadar-kai elf into all of the chaos of a world where time only recently had begun to exist, and she did not let that phase her. Comparatively young and ambitious for reasons unbeknownst to the faculties at the Littlewood Institute, she has asked time and time again for funds and resources to take a research trip into the desert, to find out more about the whereabouts of the Roundtable. After years of forms filled out and holding her superiors at gunpoint, she finally gets the “yes” she had been waiting so long for, with a single caveat: She has to take people with her to protect and help her, because the Institute does not condone their researchers being alone in the most dangerous area of the plane.
