I would like their to be more depth in the companions but also I’m not sure the team at Bethesda have the ability to make it so. It’s a design failure in fallout 4 with some just okay characterization sprinkled in. I think if they tried to mimic baldur’s gate 3 when it comes to companions it would..
I’ve been replaying fallout 4 for some reason and one thing that comes to mind in comparing it to actual rpg’s that have came out since is how shallow all of the characters are. Even the decent companions don’t have much going on except for “my life is bad”. And this is where I’m a little bit split.

Initial impressions of battlefield 6 are positive. There’s some weird beta stuff that happens but that’s to be expected. ADS seems to be incredibly fast despite what you have on the gun, I imagine that’s not intended so I’m expecting that to change. Excited for what it ends up being.
