Staff at the nation’s largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility have placed bets on which detainee will be the next to die by suicide, according to new reporting from the Associated Press based on 911 calls and detainee accounts.
Our representative government is almost gone. We have a criminal conspiracy masquerading as a federal government.
They are doing virtually nothing for the average American.

The media often treats Trump like some sort of Zelig-like character, a mere bystander in his own administration w/no agency or ability to shape decisions. It's really infuriating considering Biden and Obama were both expected to own everything going on in the country all the time.
It's the middle of the night in Chicago. Reporters and electeds are trying to figure out why a US citizen was detained by CBP, why her phone was inside an ICE detention center tonight, and where she is now.
Also unclear what happened to the other five people she was detained with at O'Hare airport.
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.

Reports come out detailing how the Russians are supplying intelligence to Iran on US military actions, so naturally the Trump administration wants to reward the Russians.

Our troops are dying this isn’t a video game. The White House is posting so-called “hype” videos that mix real footage from the war in Iran with clips from movies and video games like Call of Duty. It’s an absolute disgrace.
We can throw another $500,000,000,000 at the Pentagon this year and spend $1,000,000,000/day on a wholly useless war, but we can't afford to hire doctors and nurses to take care of our veterans? The United States is such an irresponsible, messed up country right now.

Trump is undoubtedly the most deranged, corrupt, sociopathic president the country has ever seen and is guilty of so much more than this one incident. The fact that he hasn't already been impeached and removed is a testament to the moral bankruptcy of 40 percent of the country.

The Constitution is clear: Congress decides on war. When a president uses military force without authorization and Congress stays silent, they are abandoning their role as a co equal branch of government. War is the most serious power our government has. Shame on the U.S. Senate today.
