I do like this. I first heard it in Beirut, at Christmas, maybe about 15 years ago, and have loved it ever since.

Lovely photo...and (not 'but') it also looks like a Scalextric track 🙂
Then you should listen to The Fall.
He's "open-minded" he says. Reminds me of that line, "If you open your mind too much, your brain might fall out." Here is the evidence of that line being a truism.

Pleasure. I teach a secondary IB Diploma course called 'Global Politics,' but I teach in an international school in India, otherwise I would circulate it to my students. However, I am also on a bunch of WA groups for teachers of the same course all over the world. Wish me to share it?
Done 🙂
Impressive. I'd love to read your review of it...and I'd also love to know whether it is as-sold- compatible with the Fuji (since I have the same body as yours, but I always worry about compatibility before splashing the cash...). Thank you in advance.

I'm at 'that age' where I have to turn the music down in the car in order to 'see better,' but I do really tip my hat to your 'music-in-the-car' selections. Always one of my highlights of the day.
Beautiful. A film whose final scene always brings the tears.
A hill I am prepared to stand on: despite 'Song to the Siren' (the A side of this single) being sublime, I have always thought this the better of the two tracks.
Brava! There is no doubt that 'Song to the Siren' is a classic, this is, in my opinion, the far superior of the two tracks on the record.

When, at the age of 60 now, I examine my music collection, and I realise that EBTG and the various precursors account for the largest single portion of that, I realise it all started with The Marine Girls and Ben Watt on 'Pillows and Prayers.'
Mine too...many bands I had never heard before, and who thereafter became firm favourites...and the payoff of Quentin Crisp and 'A Bang and a Wimpy'...A life-changing compilation at that point in my life.
