P6 loved having a chilled World Book Day afternoon in the corridor 📚 📖

Primary 4 pupils also presented at our assemblies. They shared information about World Book Day and also advertised their Fairtrade Tuckshop! And…Room 14 won the Golden Broom this week!

Primary 6 from R13 are loving studying the novel, ‘Holes’, by Louis Sachar. They were working on their summarising skills to identify the key parts to the story of ‘Kissing Kate Barlow’.

Congratulations to one of our P6 Calderwoodies who received a special letter from the House of Commons during our assembly yesterday. She has been chosen as a winner in the @michaelshanksmp.co.uk story writing competition. We are looking forward to attending the prize-giving tomorrow! ✏️📝📚📖
