He could be sticky, perhaps from the orange gloop, or from fundamental health issues. But best not to speculate.

Had been towed broke free in storm

Long ago I stopped buying Israeli stuff. Now I will avoid produce and products from America and from US-owned companies. I like Lands End clothing and Worcester Sauce, but they are first on my list.

Thank you for this, from a former Lab voter (least bad option).

In my Brit career I often met spoken English including swearing which acted as a capital letter stressing significant nouns and verbs.

I see a devastated empty landscape, with what I assume is one species of grass, showing ruts or plough marks.

Internally in the UK names of the famous can be kept out of the news by secret legal injunctions which cannot be mentioned - jail sentences. So lawyers can know, reporters have to know, politicians can gossip, but voters are kept ignorant. Sometimes they can be spotted by the silence they cause.

I wonder whether US dominance kept the smaller nations in line, perhaps only by existing, without actual action? Best we don't upset the Boss thinking?

Do you have Holding Charges in your part of the world? The information is already public, such charging allows further investigation, searches, and the like.

The information is already published, so action could be immediate and difficult to contest. Do you allow for a 'Holding Charge' in your part of the world? And now the cops can invoke search warrants and such.

Outer London, Middx, 80s, commuting by car, it seemed everyone appreciated that if we all signalled at roundabouts, we'd all get home quicker. As a visitor now, I don't see it.

This serves to add to my distrust of the media. Figures here in the UK indicate that such is the majority viewpoint. Partly they bring it upon themselves, and could make this one change overnight, as a start in regaining confidence.

A significant birthday, working alone, far from home, over thirty years ago, I listened to Carly S on a walkman. She helped me through that bad time.

Admin might say "We have been working tirelessly all week", but I expect the front line staff are absolutely wrecked by long hours, high workload and constant responsibility, with only mutual support and dedication to duty & service keeping them going.

Here in the UK it is difficult to avoid US petrol companies. I make the effort now.

In my day, it was camera-ready artwork, made into a plate by a photo process. My bad if wrong. The world moves on, the responsibility doesn't.
