The scene was over, and they wanted to move things along, and this was an easy way to achieve that, lol, but itβs such a wild character choice for the Kiryu we now know and love to make ππ
Right, itβs completely out of character for him. I have to assume since this is a scene from the very first game it was something they were able to hand wave away before Kiryuβs character was firmly defined, for the sake of convenience in the narrative.

Yeah like, slash goggles completely off, nowhere in the room, this is still one of the WILDEST things Kiryu EVER does.
