Managed to combine two of my favourite things with the fantastic preservation of this leather #shoe that was found on board! (I’m holding a lovely replica- very small and narrow!)

I’m remembering #ProfLordRenfrew tonight. Such a formative presence in my undergraduate and then later in my PhD at Cambridge University. He leaves a huge legacy in archaeology and heritage.
