granted, much of this relies on the relationship you’ve built with them over the previous games. what the ME trilogy achieved has not been done since, and given how long development cycles are nowadays, i doubt it will be done again for a long time. but still! forever my favorite game along w/ TW3.

2 is an extremely good game, but Mass Effect 3 is a game that deepens, honors, and celebrates your relationship to its characters in ways all other games only dream of achieving imo
