For model trains, remember to take into account similar locos may be quite different sizes. Take EMD SD units for instance: the SD7, SD9, SD28, and SD35 were all a little over 60 feet but the SD40 was around 65 feet, then the SD60, SD70 jump up to 72 feet and the SD80MAC & SD90MAC are over 80 feet!

Milwaukee Road 585, an EMD SDL39 locomotive painted in the Milwaukee Road's orange and black scheme. Behind it is DME 549, a SD10 rebuilt from a SD7 and painted in the DME's blue and yellow scheme.
Three locomotives leading a train: DME 6618, a chop-nose rebuilt SD7 painted in Chicago and Northwestern yellow and green with a DME patch on the cab sides, followed by SOO 584, an EMD SLD39 painted in the bandit scheme, (orange and black Milwaukee Road with black panels added to cover the old reporting marks, and last DME 550, a SD10 rebuilt from a SD7 also painted in the bandit scheme.
In 1987, the Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern evaluated supplementing their fleet of lightweight SD7 and SD9 rebuilds with the former Milwaukee SDL39s that the Soo Line was trying to find a buyer for, but ultimately passed.

Seeing a completed SP SD9 #3dprint made by our garden railroad club president is so encouraging. There aren't many 1:29 scale releases these days + with a #modeltrain market that focuses on the most expensive models, printing becomes a necessity for budget builds. www.thingiverse.com/thing:7287868

There is a train track that goes from RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE to a few blocks away from my work and yet there is no frequent passenger rail along that line.

alright just this once I'll draw a knight who isn't a gender ambiguous twink (they still could be in there). having fun mixing and matching from various periods of time with this one, also I like making the mace really small, something menacing about it.

#MarchOfRobots2026 no 5; Rain.
Without the rain, it probably doesn't make sense, but I'm happy with how much it looks like a fancy shampoo or perfume bottle, both in shape and colour.
I figure I'll go back later and redraw the whole scene if I have time.
Why the heck did a Warboss need a tactical rock? Come on man.

Looks like Orks are getting bigger, and grots getting meaner with these two. Loving the look.
