Cool! Look forward to watching this later. I'm also using 30k bits for 40k Iron Warriors. They don't look as good as yours, mind!
Three genestealers (from the old Battle For Mcragge box) painted up for Grimdark Future Firefight.
Assembled my first 5 Eldritch Raiders.
a selfie of a white guy with a beard and a wool hat with behind him a playmat of the ninja turtles playing a card game at their cozy sewer base.
I illustrated this Turtle playmat and now you can get one too.

This turned out great!
Anything that works is valid.
Instead of sketch and line art, it's like line art twice?
But it is Ansgil who finishes the fight. Seeing his chance he raises his still-loaded crossbow and puts a bolt squarely between the eyes of the goblin they came to kill.
"I had it," mutters Sven to himself, then slumps down to the ground, nursing his wounds.
Desperate, the goblin shaman finally manages to use his power, sending a magical poison dart flying towards Sven. It goes wide. The shaman panics and cowers in the corner, muttering another incantation as the dwarf barrels towards him.
Parrying the goblin's blow, the wizard strikes out again. This time his dagger hits it's mark and the goblin slumps backwards, dead. "I think I'm getting the hang of his!" Magnus boasts.
Breaking through the goblins at the door, Sven and Ansgil make a run for the shaman. Magnus leaps after them, stabbing out at a remaining goblin in the doorway, but his dagger glances off it's crude armour.
Magnus can only look on helplessly as the battle rages in the doorway. His only consolation is the frustrated shouts and mutterings from the shaman in the room beyond, suggesting the creature is struggling to wield it's own magic.
"Get back!" yells the wizard. Ansgil does just that, and before the goblins can flood in after him, Magnus casts a howling fireball through the doorway, obliterating the first wave of attackers. Then he slumps against his staff. His mana is spent, but the battle is not yet over.
The lead goblin is a berserker, and rains down blows on the dwarf, finding a chink in his armour. Sven roars, in anger as much as pain.
At last they've found their quarry, the goblin shaman! But he's heavily guarded...
Opening a door, Ansgil detects the faint glow of daylight. "It's the way out!" he exclaims, excitedly.
"Aye, laddie," says the dwarf, grimfaced. "But we haven't done what we came to do."
Magnus was jumped by a goblin while searching for treasure. Dodging the goblin's clumsy blow he stabs it with his dagger.
They manage to lift the portcullis and escape before any wandering monsters show up. Sven carries then stolen ruby, but can't shake the feeling of dread. Should he have left it alone after all?
*and* they triggered a portcullis trap.
It was cursed...
They found a small room, empty except for a mysterious statue with a gigantic ruby as one eye. "Just leave it," pleaded Ansgil, "Just leave it!" But Sven's own eyes were glinting...
Wasn't long before they ran into some more goblins on the lower level.
"Forget this!" blurted the Dwarf, still coughing from the fumes he'd inhaled. "The shaman's lair is bound to be on the lower level. We're wasting time". With that the party made their way back to the stairs down, this time circumnavigating the room with the chasm.
A map of tonight's dungeon.
I tire, even if the party does not. Thanks for reading, anyone who made it this far. Perhaps the quest will continue come morrow...
Coughing and spluttering and swearing loudly in the dwarven tongue, he comes off no worse for wear. Once again his dwarven constitution saves him.
Magnus and Ansgil conduct a thorough search but come up empty handed. Sven, meanwhile, triggers a gas trap while inspecting a door ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Taking no chances, he burns them to a crisp with a fireball!
