Iβm also excited about the introduction of Native Histograms! It seems you still need to explicitly enable them, but the idea of not having to choose and constantly update bucket boundaries is worth the extra effort! π
I really need bookmarking on here already
To help dev-twitter settle in, I made a quick little thing to
help find your people here π€
It includes scripts to export your GitHub and/or Twitter follows to a file. And then in a localhost app, it allows you to automate searching & following of your social rolodex

I created a Bluesky Starter Pack! π
It includes ~75 wonderful people in the web dev community who are doing inspiring work. I know Iβve missed some folks; I plan on adding to it over time.
Starter packs are such a great idea. Immediately makes Bluesky feel less lonely for newcomers. π

I have to be honest. If this Bluesky thing ends up like the tech-twitter I grew up (professionally) with, I may be sharing more of what I do again. The other side is growingly becoming a bit claustrophobic for me with all the extremism, no one seems to be able to agree to disagree anymore.
clearsky.app is the best way to find out what starter packs you're on FWIW. Wonder how long until someone builds a 3rd party starter pack directory with a Venn
Hello π¦
Happy to see many familiar faces around. Wasn't easy to find all of you (I probably missed many), so I created a starter pack to make it easier to (re)connect and nerd out about distributed systems, programming languages, and container stuff. Let me know who I missed!

This is how Bluesky works
I made an infra engineer starter pack. Folks posting about databases, stream processing, durable execution, orchestrators, service meshes, and more.

Alright, gotta repost all the things.
On Bluesky, I frequently see a series of back-to-back reposts from the same person in my timeline. Initially I thought it was due to the small amount of folks I'm following, but it persists even as my followees grow.
Is that the way it should be and I just need to detox from Twitter still?
